v8055 - game site is here. Last updated in June. Maybe it's too early to call it dead, considering the group has just released another game and this one has not been taken off their website.
v2122 has been released a long time ago, but was taken down as the group wanted to create Version 2 and never got around to it.
P.S. How to add multiple relationships to the thread? Do you separate them by commas?

v5617 has (apparently--of course I can't check since the website is down) got a trial version released (r10905). I'm of the opinion that even if a trial is all that was ever released, we should still document it.

I'd go even further and say that it'd be nice to document canceled VNs that never even got trials, but there's no need to go that far for this one.

Edit: v3809 has a trial, too.Last modified on 2011-10-12 at 04:53

I also think that it won't hurt to keep entries for games that have a trial version released and it is readily available, i.e. the game's homepage is alive.
At least japanese ones, I don't really care about OELVNs.

v2572, v3675, v3739, v3805, v3809 all have trial versions available at their homepages.Last modified on 2011-10-12 at 16:20

While we're at it, the French fan-translation of Kira Kira has been dead for a while now. They said that they were abandoning the project in favor of shorter games.

We can keep the vns with trials and remove just their full version releases, so they won't show in vn list as TBA.

Indeed, and it has been in the database for almost a month already. Deleted.

How about we re-add it when it's done? :)

How about v7964? I made a thread about it (t2146), but nobody payed much attention to it. I doesn't look like a VN by the current standards.

@beliar: Meh, such threads quickly get overlooked when I read them, decide to wait a bit for other users to give any other insight, and then completely forget about it. Thanks for the reminder, item deleted.Last modified on 2011-11-06 at 19:13

@Beliar: Sorry, that's my fault. I wanted to look into the matter, but there was a death in the family and I kind of forgot about it with the funeral and shit going on...

Can producers be suggested as well? Although its a bit early someone added link there's no link, no projects, or anything. Might be worth keeping an eye on this to see if anything materializes

Looks like a typical case of "Let's announce our project on VNDB before we even have a website or something mentionable to release!". Happens quite often, unfortunately. :-/

Since I can't find anything else about them and nothing has been added in the last two days, I'm going to assume they haven't released anything yet and will delete the entry for now.

I'm gonna suggest r3053 and r2996. After "Dark Translations" death there is no proof that "Sanity Ends" is continuing any of those projects, especially as the group has been silent since the beginning of the year.

@ justin-kun Last I heard, the guy making that game is making yet another yuri game. This time about two girls working in a bakery link You'll need a Lemmasoft forum account to view the thread though. Don't add this to the VNDB just yet, since the new game has no name yet, no one can add it even if they wanted to.

@beliar

"Sanity Ends" has been quiet since March. Like "Dark Translations" it was never a group, but one guy (the same guy, of course). I don't think he was continuing the projects you were referring to either so they can probably be deleted.

As for "Sanity Ends" going, several months without any activity doesn't necessarily signal the end of a group, however, something tells me that "Sanity Ends" has indeed ended.

Removed r3053 and r2996. I remember discussing what to do with them some year ago on IRC, but since still nothing happened around those releases it should be safe to assume they're somewhat dead.

Then you can also remove r2468 from Dark Translations

r10063 should be removed. Relevant link.
I think that r5022 can be considered dead for all intents and purposes too.
