I don't get any of the sekai hate, they release both all ages and 18 + and gsenjou can survive without it's sex scenes you lost nothing of value.
Honestly a lot of the sex scenes in suba are pretty unnecessary but there are few that are plot important especially in chapters 2 and 3. So there's no reason for an all ages version.
And it's weird that they aren't using kickstarters if they are release it directly because localization isn't cheap.

A lot of the costs for most localizations involves paying to license the content in the game. That's obviously not needed here since it would involve KeroQ paying themselves.

@52 The people that are mad about G-senjou probably don't give a crap what you think about "nothing being lost", mate. You won't convince them otherwise, so there's no point in trying.
Anyway...about the hard copies, this is just me guessing, but I just don't see them happening. Remember RapeLay? With a digital version, KeroQ will have complete control over where it's sold. When physical copies get thrown into the mix you can't do that, and some people will always re-sell them on various places. I just can't see them ignoring the precedent, although nobody thought they'd make an official English version, so it's hard to say for sure. I don't know much about KeroQ itself or anything, admittedly.

Sekia has a lot of problems beyond just the lack of 18+ G-Senjou, the hate comes from a lot of different factors and isn't something that should be ignored like a majority of their fans apparently do.
But this isn't about Sekai, there's no way Sekai would want this as it would hurt their all ages appearance and cannot get on steam. Chances are it might be sold on all three publisher sites(J-ast, MG, and denpa) so that KeroQ doesn't need to make a storefront for one game.
As for localization costs, KeroQ would still have to repay voice actors, so it isn't free. You can't just release a game in a different market and not get charged by any third party group that assisted with creating the game. Chances are they have enough money/did contracts well enough that it's fine though. I mean other then Clannad none of Keys other games are getting kickstarted so I doubt the necessity of VN kickstarters in general.Last modified on 2015-12-29 at 23:58

As for localization costs, KeroQ would still have to repay voice actors, so it isn't freeIt depends on specific contracts with seiyuu/agency. Maybe they need re-negotiate voices and pay fees, maybe they own all rights and don't need to do anything, this is pure speculation without any reliable info.

I presume it didn't cost much or anything, otherwise they probably wouldn't be doing this.

Is there an English patch that has been already released? Since it seems some are already playing it with a patch yet I can't see the patch on TLWiki site.

TLWiki has removed it, like most of their patches, out of respect for the official localisation. (Believe they have done that at least, haven't checked in a long time, so might be wrong) can probably Google around and find it somewhere though.

Well so far from my searches, they're all partial patches. Is there a full patch that has been released?

If there was a full patch then I'm sure Frontwing would have released the game already in English...

Just asking since as I see, the translation is 100% and so I'm wondering if it's released before TLWiki removed the download link.
Also, I've just found and bought this VN recently so I'm not really updated regarding to the previous patches and whatever news regarding SubaHibi except that there's an English patch and its translation progess is 100%.Last modified on 2017-05-03 at 16:20

Well a 100% translated patch isn't a finished patch really, so many other stuff that needs to be done for it to be satisfactory.
That aside, I haven't read subahibi in English or Japanese yet, I'll probably wait for the Frontwing release or pick it up in November. So if you want the complete piece in English you can always get their release, or use something like VNR to get it into Engrish.
Either way, my foremost hope is that you'll enjoy the novel!

There was never a 100% translation patch release. There were a handful of leaked partial patches, but not a complete patch.
